Nog steeds in de zomertijd kijken we binnen bij Gwyneth Paltrow en Chris Martin in Hamptons. Het is de plek waar ze genieten van dit huis van 6800m2 met 5 slaapkamers en 7 ½ badkamers. Het huis heeft een klassieke landhuis architectuur met een modernistische twist van binnen.
Op het eerste gezicht straalt het huis een meer vrouwelijke en sensuele vibe uit. Roze, paars en vele tinten van crème spelen een essentiële rol bij het behouden van de juiste lichtomstandigheden. In de woonkamer staan een paar lichtblauwe banken waar Gwyneth geniet van het grote borduur kunstwerk van kunstenares Ann Carrington. Achter een van de banken hangen twee Warhols om van te genieten. Het palet is zeer bewust overal een combinatie van heldere tinten van lila met meer ingetogen tinten als off-white, grijs, zwart en een basis wit.
In het trappenhuis hangt een prachtige Tom Dixon kroonluchter van reflecterende zilveren bollen.De Tord Boontje kandelaar in de eetkamer is meer traditioneel en een aanvulling op de roze en blauwe tinten van de muren en het plafond. De stoelen zijn eigentijds en afgewerkt in licht bruin leder om zo een harmonisch evenwicht tussen de kleuren van het hout en de muren te creëren.

Still in a summer time we look into Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin gateway in Hamptons. It is where they enjoy this 6,800 square foot, 5 bedrooms, 7½ bathrooms, home. The home is in a classic, cottage architecture with lots of modernist touches inside.
At first sight, the whole house radiates a more girly and sensual vibe. Pink, purple and the many shades of cream play an essential role in securing the proper light conditions. As a summer house, the Hamptons Home of the Paltrow-Martin family is the perfect example on how to juggle with shades and designs to stay on trend with the newest interior design trends which include minimalism and colorful room ideas.
In the living room, a pair of pale blue sofas anchors the room, where Gwyneth can enjoy the large needlepoint artwork of artist Ann Carrington. There are also two Warhol’s to adore behind one of the sofas.
